Sightseeing and plastic monuments

Shizuoka City, which accounts for 80% of all shipments nationwide and claims to be the "Model Capital of the World," has model art and plastic monuments that can be seen at tourist spots.
No.006 「Tokugawa Ieyasu Armor」
Sunpu Horino Terrace, Sunpucho, Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City
10 minutes walk from JR Shizuoka City

A plastic monument related to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who is attracting attention in the NHK Taiga drama "What Will You Do, Ieyasu?" has also appeared. The image of Ieyasu fighting wearing golden armor in the drama was impressive, and the monument has been made into a life-size monument modeled after the armor that Ieyasu is said to have worn.
The texture of the fabric and iron parts are elaborately expressed, giving it a sense of style.

It is located around the moat surrounding Sunpu Castle Park, where the ruins of Sunpu Castle, built by Ieyasu, remain.
Why not stop by while enjoying a historical tour along with the nearby Shizuoka City History Museum and Taiga Drama Museum?
