Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art

The Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art, located on a small hill near Nihondaira in the southern part of Shizuoka City, has a wide range of collections, mainly "Japanese and Western landscape paintings from the 17th century", "Authors and works associated with Shizuoka", and "Rodin and modern sculpture". It also focuses on educational activities and aims to become an "open museum".
