Nihondaira Festival

A fireworks festival, which is held every year in late July at Nihondaira, a hill 307m above sea level that is one of Japan's top 100 sightseeing spots and is also known as a national scenic spot. 12,000 large fireworks will be displayed in collaboration with the night view of Shimizu Ward, Suruga Bay, and Mt. Fuji, which are representative of Shizuoka. The sight of fireworks going off overhead while lying on the grass in the Nihondaira Hotel's outdoor garden is a sight to behold. Please come to the venue and enjoy the fireworks show, which has short launch intervals and includes lighting and music.
