Abekawa Mochi

Abekawa Mochi is a famous specialty that has been widely known as a Tokaido souvenir since the Edo period. Abekawa Mochi from "Yamadayichi" is recognizable by its wrapping paper with Kitahachi, one of the main characters of "Tokaido Chuuhizakurige". The Shogun Ieyasu version is also on sale at the Shizuoka Gift Shop, the place of Shogun Ieyasu's first love, which is attached to the Taiga Drama Museum.
